A sample from today's wedding.  Adam and Kelly at Temple Bet Shalom in Minnetonka, a beautiful modern structure 4 years old, straight off the architect's drawing board.  The Sanctuary is filled with light and the overall look is similar to what you see in state-the-art loft spaces being built in the Warehouse District in Minneapolis. I noticed in the Rabbi's office a copy of an Architectural magazine that featured Bet Shalom on it's cover.   I've seen many a stained glass window and carved marble pillar but this is the first time I've seen perforated metal and galvanized grating as elegant elements in a house of worship. Here is Kelly in front of a concrete pillar next to the floor to ceiling windows at the entry....More Later.

Young and Old...Shooting an engagement portrait today in Loring Park Downtown Minneapolis.  We were looking for some shade in the late day sun and all of the benches in the shade were taken...we came across this older  couple and started talking to them and ultimately asked if we could borrow their bench for a few minutes. They very graciously agreed...as it turns out TODAY is their 55th Wedding Anniversary.  What better way to celebrate than to give up your bench to a young couple about to be married. ....I didn't get a chance to give them a business card...Thank you whoever you are. I'll post more tomorrow.
